Scope and Contents

Series I contains six sub-series relating to the administrative records of Pride of the Greater Lehigh Valley. This includes general administrative records, Pride in the Park, records on events such as the Northeast Regional Pride Conference (NERP), Lehigh Valley Queer Film Festival, National Coming Out Day, and the Rainbow Scholarship.
The sub-series dedicated to general administrative records such as by-laws, correspondence, meeting minutes, press releases, finances, volunteer coordination, contacts lists, ephemera, publications, non-profit status, organizational technology logistics, board member info, and sponsorships. It also includes information on membership, promotions like the Pride Pass and the Rainbow Ribbons, and events such as the Barnes and Noble Book Fair, Prizm Prom, the Community Networking Breakfast, and Freedom to Marry.
The sub-series dedicated to administrative material specifically for Pride in the Park and its iterations in the Lehigh Valley dated from 2000 to 2017. Files in this series are related to Pride - related events, committees/meetings, permits/insurance, parades, entertainment, public relations, marketing/advertising, sponsorships, budgets, press and media policies, vendors, pageants for the royal court, security and first aid, volunteers, flyers/handouts, and ephemera. The sub-series dedicated to the Lehigh Valley Queer Film Festival’s administrative material dated from 2000 to 2005. It includes files on venues, film schedules, film information, sponsorships, public relations, marketing, panel and post-party information, correspondence, finances/budgets, film resources, ephemera, as well as production items and the portfolio of co-curator Liz Sherry.
The sub-series dedicated to the administrative material dated DATES related to the Northeast Regional Pride Conference (NERP). It includes material focusing on general information, conference committees, volunteers, correspondence, promotions, workshops/participants, and NERP-related events.
The sub-series dedicated to administrative materials for National Coming Out Day includes documents related to correspondence and events.
The sub-series dedicated to administrative files on the Rainbow Scholarship dated from 2004 to 2011.
