From the Series: These mid-twentieth-century, unbound scrapbooks, which are organized mostly in reverse chronological order, primarily contains Call-Chronicle and Morning Call newspaper clippings about the Allentown Band.

Additional Description

This volume concerns performances, soloists, guest conductors, member obituaries, television and radio performances, and outreach. It also includes a few programs from Allentown Band concerts, as well as a program from the Spring Festival of Instrumental Music in North Hampton on May 4th, 1972, in which he directed the orchestra. Joe’s letter of admittance into the band from January 28th, 1964 from Edgar M. Acker is also included. Additionally, five loose newspaper clippings from 1979 to 1984 about the Allentown Band are placed in the back of the scrapbook.
