These mid-twentieth-century, unbound scrapbooks, which are organized mostly in reverse chronological order, primarily contains Call-Chronicle and Morning Call newspaper clippings about the Allentown Band.

This volume concerns performances, soloists, guest conductors, member obituaries, seat advancements, band directors. There are also clippings regarding film, culture, and fashion from that time period, the Ringling circus, Seip’s Violins, and Allentown opera star, Laurel Hurley. Additionally, it includes a few programs from Allentown Band concerts. Additionally, there are nine newer pages at the beginning of the scrapbook with mementos from the 1961-1972. They include a Parkland High School Junior Senior prom souvenir program from May 20th, 1961, two Northampton Spring Festival of Instrumental Music programs, the Washington Hilton brochure from 1971, 6 obituaries of musicians, an Allentown Band program from October 21st, 1972, and 7 assorted newspaper clippings.
