From the Series: These five mid-twentieth-century, disbound scrapbooks contain newspaper clippings, brochure clippings, and concert program clippings about arts, culture, and style pertaining to Allentown, New York, and Philadelphia.

From the Series: 5 Volumes (Five volumes contained in five archival boxes.)

Contents relate to the Allentown music scene in the 1930s. The clippings in the book are about theatrical, symphonic, and band performances, a few of which include hand written notes about who attended them. Additionally, there are clippings about the Allentown Band’s travel, as well as the deaths of prominent community musicians. It also includes a few clippings from Northampton School Band performances. Additionally, it contains a Telephone Pioneers of America Declaration with 37 signatures.
