This small scrapbook contains material relating to the 1964 Muhlenberg Commencement, at which Dr. Shankweiler was awarded an honorary doctorate. Contents comprise newspaper clippings, photographs, programs, and the text of the speeches given by Dr. W. Clarke Wescoe '41 and Dr. Conrad Bergendoff.

Both volumes contain photographs, newspaper clippings, dedication programs, College promotional brochures, alumni magazines, and more. Volume I appears to have been compiled in the early 1950s. It is not arranged chronologically: it contains personal memorabilia such as reciepts for automobiles from the 1920s, and a program for 1915 "Class Day" exercises at Shankweiler's teachers college, Keystone State Normal School.
