Scope and Contents This large photograph album contains images of all aspects of life at Muhlenberg in the 1930s, beginning at a point when Dr. Shankweiler had been teaching at the College for about 10 years. The album contains a mix of formal campus views of buildings and people, some of which were not personally taken by Shankweiler, but the bulk of the images provide a personal record of the man and his circle of people and interests.Subjects include tennis (teams and individual players) and other...

Scope and Contents The first album is disbound, and contains 43 photographs (4 loose) of life at Muhlenberg during 1920-21, when Dr. Shankweiler was a student. The second, larger album, containing 354 photographs, serves as a window into life at the College during the 1930s.
