From the Collection: 50 Linear Feet (The bulk of the printed material (previously the vertical files) is contained in flip-top document cases. Textiles, memorabilia, and other realia is stored in appropriate lidded boxes.)

Brochures, publications for a Debt Free Coeducational College; hope to raise $1,500,000; proposed committees; personnel; emerging and general plan; "Muhlenberg Weekly" (11/5/53); trustees approve coeducation; costs; Ministerium 5/7/48 not in favor of co-education at college - favors Cedar Crest co-operative pact; later asks for co-education as soon as plan can be developed on practical basis

1/16/1948 letter to alumnus from R. H. Eliassen, Executive Secretary Committee on Higher Education for Women asking for response to issue of college admitting women
