The materials in this collection were generated by Muhlenberg College and its affiliated individuals and organizations [those of students, faculty, staff, administration, and community affiliates]. From the Collection: 50 Linear Feet (The bulk of the printed material (previously the vertical files) is contained in flip-top document cases. Textiles, memorabilia, and other realia is stored in appropriate lidded boxes.)
General
This episode of the Coca-Cola-sponsored "Victory Parade of Spotlight Bands" program was broadcast from the Rainbow Room at Central Park in Allentown, PA on January 27, 1944. Muhlenberg College's Navy V-12 training unit was present. The event featured performer Vaughn Monroe and his orchestra.
