Scope and Contents Frederick C. Roberts, Jr. attended Muhlenberg College from 1935 through 1939, and this collection offers a glimpse into daily student life and work. The group of materials includes student work books and forms, dance cards, schedules, dorm rules, a receipt for board at the college, a copy of "The Freshman Writer" newsletter, "Wilmer and Vincent's Amusement Guide" (Allentown), Vol. 1, no. 9, and some irreverent poetry.

J. Gysbert Bouma Papers, 1960-1963

Scope and Contents This collection comprises 19 letters written by J. Gysbert Bouma to David and Jean Raudenbush between 1960 and 1963; one letter written by Jean Raudenbush; and one sent to the Raudenbushes by Bouma's wife, Bertha.

The collection of poetry is comprised of approximately 100 typed sheets, most seemingly dealing with themes of love and sex, many referencing "Lilischa." A few pieces take epistolary or essay form and appear to be autobiographical.

Muhlenberg Bicentennial Pageant Memorabilia Collection

Scope and Contents Two ringbound notebooks (one disbound) contain photographs, clippings, and programs relating to theatre performances at Muhlenberg College, primarily in 1942. Of particular focus is the Muhlenberg Bicentennial Pageant of 1942. Additionally, the collection contains two copies of the pageant script written by Dr. John D.M. Brown. One typescript is unannotated; the other is Albee's personal copy.
