From the Collection: 50 Linear Feet (The bulk of the printed material (previously the vertical files) is contained in flip-top document cases. Textiles, memorabilia, and other realia is stored in appropriate lidded boxes.)

President Tyson writes to President of Hamilton College regarding navy admitting Negroes to the V-1 training program, suggests this be brought up at meeting of the Wartime Commission

Details of the Conferennce of Presidents of Negro Land Grant Colleges: Wartime Commission will make it possible for participation of Negro students in Navy V-1, V-5, and other programs of the armed services.
