From the Collection: 50 Linear Feet (The bulk of the printed material (previously the vertical files) is contained in flip-top document cases. Textiles, memorabilia, and other realia is stored in appropriate lidded boxes.)

Biographical sketch by Philip Secor; appointed Dean of Men at Temple; elected to Presidency of the college; Seegers (1953-1961); family portrait; coeducation began; first alumnus, class of 1913, to be president; Seegers receives L.H.D. from Franklin and Marshall; LL.D. from Lafayette; honorary LL.D. from Temple; invitation to luncheon for presentation of Seegers's portrait painted by Furman Finck.

"For Whom the Bells Toll" - death of Hazel J. Seegers of Charleston, S.C., widow of sixth Presdient of Muhlenberg College, who passed away on March 2 at age of 96.
